Too Late; Didn't Recap: Here are your late night takeaways for matchday 10, Hell is Real part 4.

  • This team is brutal to watch.
  • If you have a team that can't score, and only plays to defend, they can't give up goals. Let alone 3.
  • There is no fight in this team after they give up one goal. Mentally weak.
  • The attacking identity of FCC has been the same since 2018.
  • Defend, pass the ball around, hope someone pulls a rabbit out of their hat.
  • There is just no plan in the attack.
  • Calm on the ball is nice, but there isn't an attacking flow outside of waiting for Gyau to beat the entire defense.
  • The passing is better, in particular loads of short passes, but that's about it.
  • This goalless streak is painful. Watching the team is at best boring and at worse a chore.
  • 483 minutes without a regular season goal, approaching the 530 minutes that got Koch fired.
  • Locadia is not a striker that can be left on an island. He needs a striker partner or to be a part of an attacking three.
  • He comes back to collect the ball well and passes and lays off very well.
  • Regattin is not a striker. He's a creative midfielder and someone who can run all day. Not sure why he is being put up top.
  • Meanwhile Kubo is invisable in the midfield. He's a stiker, sometimes a winger.
  • But with FC Cincinnati Kubo is a midfielder. Based on their careers and skill-set, swapping Regattin and Kubo seems painfully obvious.
  • de Jong is fine but he seems to be a half-step behind at all times.
  • If someone needs a match off, it's Frankie Amaya.
  • He plays a good game, but he needs to control his tackling. Constant yellow cards hamper his game.
  • Gyau is good but everything is on him to create something.
  • Other times he seems to be so far ahead of the attack and nothing is able to build around him.
  • The entire backline needs a new identity.
  • Waston is good but slow.
  • Pettersson and van der Werff are also slow.
  • Gyau and Garza/Gutman are needed to make up for their lack of speed, hinders their ability to attack.
  • Tyton is fine enough, hard to fault him for the goals.
  • New players are allegedly coming into this team.
  • 2020 season "officially" doesn't count.
  • Fans will probably be allowed back in October, but will they show up?
