The Post During The Coronavirus Lockdown
I am not sure it was possible to pick a worse time to launch a new site dedicated to FC Cincinnati. Just when things started to get rolling the season seize up like a '98 Camry that hasn't had its oil changed in 20,000 miles.
In the end, we are where we are. There's no point in sugar coating it, the last three weeks have been rough mentally. But the best way to get out of the anxiety and fear of the unknown is to return to a routine. Writing, chasing a story, interviewing, it's all therapy really. A distraction from the global pandemic overwhelming hospitals. Plague Inc was supposed to be escapist video gaming, not a rough draft.
The Post will be putting out content during this lock down. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we'll be posting something new here. It might be a Mount Rushmore list, a hypothetical Open Cup restructure, or player interviews. We have a lot of irons in the fire right now, and we're not going to hold back for our readers. Be on the lookout for a doozy of a story from Mike Madanat.
We hope to provide you something to distract you from your life. In fact that's always been the goal here. So nothing is really that different. Except now we have a break from debating who on defense is really the one at fault. Except, the first story up is from Troy doing exactly that. See, nothing has changed!
If you enjoy what we put out there, please share it around. Let other people know you've been liking what we're putting out. And we'll be able to keep it coming.
