Three Questions Preview: Matchday 15
Tonight is Matchday 15, and with everything going on in the world right now this will either be a nice distraction from the omnipresent anxiety that is the national mood or a bleak reminder that life is pain. Here are the three questions on my mind going into tonight's match!
Can FC avoid the embarrassment of 7-1?
In a season that is going to be defined by moral victories from here on out, a great achievement would be not losing 7-1 to Minnesota. Last year this match was the culmination of a poor roster build and bad luck. This year Minnesota United will serve as a measuring stick of how far Cincinnati has come or how far it is yet to go.
Will we finally see Kamo?
Kamohelo Mokotjo will be the newest addition to the roster since Siem de Jong joined the team. FC is desperate to develop a midfield presence that can support both the attack and defense. Kamo seems to be someone manager Jaap Stam has targeted for awhile, despite it not being clear where he'll fit in. If Kamo does make his debut tonight, what will the midfield look like around him?
Will FC score a goal?
What the title says. If you don't include own goals, it's been since March 1st since this team has scored two or more goals in a match. Goal-scoring will continue to be a concern until the team proves they can score goals consistently again. Or could they ever? It's been awhile...
