Well, it’s 3 hours to go until the end of the summer transfer window MLS Secondary Transfer registration window, and we’ve only signed one player, Florian Valot, who is expected to be a rotational player. I mean, van der Werff coming back is basically like a new signing, and Arquimedes finally getting his first team minutes is basically another one, but we’re talkin’ real moves here. Well, real in at least one reality. The multiverse is magical.

Here’s who still can come in:

Kevin Felida - 21 - DM - Dutch - Den Bosch - transfer - $600k

Linked with us earlier in the year, Felida is a talented, tricky defensive midfielder who has recently shone in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, the second division of the Netherlands. With his contract running out in 2022, Den Bosch are reportedly looking to get as much as possible for him, and he could be a solid signing to support the midfield.

Matko Miljevic - 20 - LW - American - free agent

Miljevic, an exciting right-footed left winger, was recently released from his contract by Argentinos Juniors. With multiple caps under his belt already for the US U16 and U20 national teams, he could be a quality signing to provide attacking threat off the bench.

Eric Lichaj - 32 - RB - American - free agent

An experienced right back, Lichaj, who had previously played for Championship clubs Nottingham Forest and Hull City, was recently released by Karagümrük of the Turkish Süper Lig. With English clubs rumored to be interested in him, our complete lack of reported interest could allow us to swoop in and poach him instead. Could be a solid addition to allow Joe Gyau to run at defenses without having to do any defending himself.

Wout Brama - 34 - DM - Dutch - FC Twente - transfer - $300k

My Dutch contacts mentioned this player and it all seems to line up. Having played for PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie for 3 years, Nijkamp knows who he is, and hopefully Brama is old enough for them to be drinking buddies. Now back at Twente after a spell in the A-League, Brama’s experience as a Dutch league champion and player with over 50 appearances in the Champions League and Europa League could provide a touch of class and mentorship to the younger players in the side.

Pelle Clement - 25 - CM  - Dutch - PEC Zwolle - transfer - $900k

Another one from my Dutch sources, Clement is one of Jaap Stam’s favorite players. Having played under him at Jong Ajax, he was then signed twice by Stam in his career - once at Reading, and again at PEC Zwolle, where he remains today. He had 75 potential in FIFA 18 and with only one year remaining on his contract, we could get a solid player for the future truly on the cheap.

Melayro Bogarde - 18 - CB - Dutch - Hoffenheim - loan - $60k

He’s Dutch, he’s young, he’s a center back, and he’s from Hoffenheim. It all lines up. Plus Bogarde is actually talented, and not a waste of an international spot, unlike our last loanee from Hoffenheim.

Bryan Carabalí - 23 - RB - Ecuadorian - Emelec - transfer - $600k

I signed this guy for The FC in a Football Manager save I did recently and he’s honestly pretty good. Decently fast with a good right foot, solid dribbling and crossing, and the trait “Gets Forward Whenever Possible”, he could provide a threat down the wings in Stam’s 3-5-2. I signed him for only $400k, but look for a higher transfer fee after Emelec read this article.

I have my #StamOut loaded and ready to fire if we don’t sign at least two of these players.
