Chief War Pig
The Queen City War Pigs started on Twitter in 2013 and is therefore the oldest FC Cincinnati Supporters Group. This mysterious cabal of soccer hard-lads has remained in the stands and on twitter, until now. Chief War Pig, one of their more prominent members, has graciously decided to contribute to the Post with a roughly weekly column calling out the bullshit they find on and off the field.
Tracking down the latest player news and rumors for The Post; Mr Meme has been the go to voice for FC Cincinnati fans during the off-season and beyond. Nationally renowned memes and the inside information you can't live without.
Bringing you the beautiful view from section 219, Knifey Lion Radio host Jonah Colina brings fans his unique takes on their favorite team. No topic is too taboo for the calming takes of a formerly bank sponsored podcast provocateur.
Talk about a guy that is willing to sacrifice anything, someone willing to put his life on the line for this website, a man who is not afraid of speaking truth to power, and a guy who will risk it all for even the smallest payoff. And you'll be talking about someone else. But Mike is a really good writer so we keep him around.
Soccer philosopher and cultural critique-er. Mr Ellerbe is a music genius and wizard behind FC Cincinnati fandom's curtain. You know that thing that makes FCC's fan base unique? That was probably this guy's doing.
̶J̶e̶f̶f̶ ̶R̶u̶e̶t̶e̶r̶ Grayson Chalmers is a staff writer for ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶A̶t̶h̶l̶e̶t̶i̶c̶ The Post who covers soccer. He began covering ̶M̶i̶n̶n̶e̶s̶o̶t̶a̶ ̶U̶n̶i̶t̶e̶d̶ Cincy Saints during their days in the ̶N̶A̶S̶L̶ NPSL and his work has not appeared in the Guardian, ESPN FC, Sky Sports, and FourFourTwo USA. His, nonexistent cover story for Howler Magazine was not a Best American Sports Writing 2019 notable honoree.
Frankly, there was no other designer out there that could be trusted with the historic and prestigious brand that The Post carries. Springsteen brings jello making abilities to a field that lacks the sugar and gelatin to get it done.
The captain of the pirate ship. But like, a captain that hasn't raided a coastal town in a long while now. And the crew is getting fed up of eating stale biscuits. Whispers of a mutiny abound on board. Though, nobody else wants the job either. So here we are. He also co-hosts the podcast.
Photography runs through this man's veins. Along with ice, he's a stone cold shooter behind the camera. Blood also runs through his veins because he is very much alive and certainly not dead. Outside of his veins you'll find his work on Down The Drive, the SB Nation site dedicated to the UC Bearcats, and previously on Bailey Banter.
Jason Monahan is a co-host of What's This Soccer Thing podcast and has been brought on specifically because of his lack of deep tactical soccer knowledge. Which is exactly what you look for when starting a site covering soccer. But he is the perfect host opposite of Kevin to give the outsider's perspective and ask the questions everyone is asking. Like, "What's this soccer thing?"
Web design extraordinaire. HTML? He knows it. CSS? He breathes it. Wordart? This man knows his way around three dimensional rainbow letters. Rumor has it he even does the job in exchange for money sometimes.
